Hi, May 16, 2016, was a monumental day for entrepreneurs and investors across the United States. The approval of Regulation Crowdfunding was the first meaningful opportunity in over 80 years that provides everyone the chance to invest in startups and growing companies. Monday, at 5:48 AM we launched the first Regulation Crowdfunding campaign, ever! We went live and launched five new campaigns under the new regulations. We expect to see another 10 companies launch in the next 30 days. As an equity crowdfunding platform committed to providing opportunities to non-accredited investors, we are excited to allow companies to now raise up to $1MM under Regulation Crowdfunding (also known as Title III) and raise $2-50MM under Regulation A+ (also known as Title IV). In addition, StartEngine helped celebrate the launch of Regulation Crowdfunding on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. We were a finalist in the D.C. Demo Day, and showed off our website redesign! Over 75 companies applied for one of the 30 spots. We were the only company that presented our website without any technical issues.
